Before you jump right into a program, there are a few things I would suggest you do first:

1. Seek outside training and LEARN how to become a success. A network marketing business is just like any other business – you have to work smart and hard to make it a success.

2. Put aside the “employee” mindset and get in the mood as a business owner. You can't just do what you're told – you have to create and see through ideas to make money when you are a business owner.

3. Look for companies with products that you personally get excited or passionate about.

4. Do not be afraid of making mistakes. Learn from them and become stronger/smarter.

Of course, you will need a website to market your network marketing business online. Most MLM companies provide their distributors with websites, but these sites are usually not very good. If you want to succeed, you need your own website.

Since advertising will be a huge part of your promotions, look into all the different types of advertising. Here are a few: banners, text links, pop-ups, fly ins, PPC search, search engine inclusion, safe list advertising, direct mail ads, PTR email ads. There are more, but this will give you a start.

There are also a lot of free methods you can use as well, like email signatures, My Space, blogs, talk to your friends and family.

Above all, shop around. Take your time. Make smart investments. Make informed decisions and don’t let anyone tell you that you need to answer right now. Educate, integrate and motivate yourself to be great! Always work to do and be better things.
